R.R. Jewellers — Sabitganj, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India · Covers R.R Jewellers - Live Rates on the App Store · Last updated: 11 August 2026
This policy describes what the R.R. Jewellers iOS app does with information. The app is run by R.R. Jewellers, a jewellery shop trading in Etawah since 1982, so that customers can see the day’s gold and silver rates without having to call or visit.
There is no account and no sign-in, and the app collects nothing about you. Nobody has to identify themselves to see a rate.
Nothing. The app asks for no name, no phone number, no address, no Aadhaar or PAN, no bank or card details, no location, no contacts and no photos, and it carries no advertising identifier. There is nothing about you for us to hold, because we never ask for it in the first place.
All of it comes from our own rate servers, and it travels one way — to your screen. Small preferences such as text size or the last screen you were on are kept on your phone and are never sent anywhere.
If you choose to allow notifications, they reach you through Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. Google gives this installation of the app an anonymous registration identifier so that a message can find your handset.
We never see that identifier and we keep no register of phones. The app tunes in to this shop’s public notification channel, and the shop broadcasts on it. It is closer to an announcement in the shop than to a letter addressed to you — we could not send a message to one customer alone even if we wished to. Switching notifications off in iOS Settings ends it.
Beyond that the app carries no analytics, no advertising and no tracking software of any kind. It builds no profile of you and follows you nowhere. For rates it speaks only to our own servers, and it reaches your phone through the Apple App Store.
Some notifications include an image. When one does, your device downloads that image from our server as the notification is received, so it can be displayed with the text. That download reveals nothing about you or your handset. If the image cannot be retrieved, the notification still arrives with its wording intact.
There is no personal data to keep, hand over or erase, because none is gathered. Deleting the app removes the few local preferences along with it.
Tapping a phone number, WhatsApp button or web link hands you over to that app on your phone. What happens after that is covered by their privacy policies, not this one.
The app is rated 4+ and knowingly gathers nothing from anyone, children included.
Should anything here change, this page and the date at the top change with it.
